Purchasing International Insurance for Studying Abroad

Adelphi University has a contract with Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI), which provides worldwide coverage.

• CISI can be purchased for $44.17/month
• The CISI plan includes special coverage specific to study abroad, including emergency medical reunion and basic security evacuation, which generally are not covered by domestic plans (see the CISI policy for details).
• Enroll online at mycisi.com.
  • Click on “Apply Online Now”
  • Read the Agreement and check the box on the lower right corner
  • Enter the following sponsor code for the Adelphi Group Policy: AU and complete the application
• Forward the confirmation to cie@adelphi.edu
• Get the “myCISI” mobile app for quick and easy access to medical providers, travel alerts and a digital version of your id card. (recommended)
